Decking The Halls

Well friends, Thanksgiving and the long holiday weekend has passed and I hope you enjoyed yours as much as my family and I did! Now, it's time to turn focus toward Christmas and my most favorite activity, decking the halls.

I've put together resources for 3 areas of the home that you can decorate that will make the biggest impact. The good news is that you don't need a big budget to make a big impact.

Ready? Here we go!

1. The Front Door

There's nothing like a little curb appeal to make a good first impression and to set the stage for what's to come. The rule of thumb is less is best but you can embellish to your heart's content depending on your time and what the budget will allow.

Here are some great ideas from One Good Thing by Jillee

2. The Staircase

As soon as you open the door, you can't help but notice the staircase. Use it as an opportunity to draw attention to the stairway and as your opportunity to showcase your favorite colors of the holiday.

3. The Mantle

The place where the whole family can get cozy in front of, share stories, make memories. I just love a good fireplace. Add in Christmas decor and I'm in heaven!!

Here are 10 Gorgeous Mantles to inspire you. There's everything from traditional and contemporary to non-traditional and fun!

So there you have it. Are you as happy about decking the halls as I am? I hope so and I hope that I've provided some good resources for you. Now, the hard part will be deciding which idea to take action on and I know that choosing one will be hard but you can do it!

Happy hall decking, friends!
